Often, it is not the destination, but the thousands of kilometers in between that pose the greatest challenge. During a 1,000–2,000 km journey, both the vehicle and the driver face significant strain. Through my professional driver service, I help my clients eliminate stress, time loss, and exhaustion on the most popular European routes.

Here are the top directions where a professional driver offers you true freedom.

Route 1

Chasing the Sun: Heading South to Spain

Malaga, Alicante, and the Costa del Sol region

Many dream of spending the winter or a long vacation in Southern Spain. The critical question is always the same: How does your own, familiar car get there?

A 2,500-kilometer drive is not a holiday – it is a demanding logistical task. The monotony of French motorways, the Spanish heat, and the complex toll systems can quickly exhaust even experienced drivers. One of my clients put it perfectly:

"I'd rather pay for a plane ticket and arrive fresh than spend three days staring at guardrails."

While you travel in comfort, I cross the continent, monitoring your vehicle's safety and technical condition every step of the way.

Pro Tip

Some Spanish motorways (AP) have picky toll machines that may reject foreign cards or denominations larger than €20. Always carry €10 and €20 notes for a smooth journey!

Route 2

La Dolce Vita Without the Stress: Tuscany and Lake Garda

Northern and Central Italy

Northern Italy is a perennial favorite for European travelers. However, crossing the Brenner Pass or navigating the narrow, winding roads around Lake Garda requires intense concentration. While everyone loves the atmosphere of Tuscany, the 1,000–1,200 km motorway trek to get there is much less appealing.

Many want to enjoy the Italian landscape in their own car but don't want to arrive depleted. This is where I come in: you fly to your destination quickly and comfortably, and 1–2 days later, I deliver your car directly to your villa or hotel – washed and ready for the road.

Pro Tip

In Italy, do not enter "Telepass" lanes without a registered device! Choose the lanes marked in white (cash/card) or blue (cards only). Good to know: many toll booths do not require a PIN code for card payments, making the process very fast.

Route 3

Diplomatic Missions and Relocations: The Brussels Connection

For officials, diplomats, and expats

In diplomatic life, time is the most valuable commodity. During a posting to Brussels or a move back home, the stress of relocation is compounded by a 14–16 hour drive on the German Autobahn. This route is all about precision and discretion for me.

Many clients prefer to have their family car delivered packed with personal belongings while they travel by air. I deliver the vehicle safely and on schedule to the Belgian capital (or vice versa), allowing you to focus on your work or your family from day one.

Pro Tip

Belgian motorways are exceptionally well-lit at night, but average speed checks (trajectcontrole) are strictly enforced. Keep your speed consistent, as fines are issued automatically and can be quite high.

Route 4

Blue Adriatic, White Sails: Straight to the Marina

Destinations in Croatia

Croatia is a stunning summer destination, but peak-season congestion at toll booths and temperatures exceeding 35°C can be a major burden for both the driver and the car.

This service is particularly popular among yacht owners. They fly down to the coast, and I deliver their vehicle directly to the marina or summer house, often loaded with extra gear for their sailing trip. No queues at the toll gates, no fatigue – just coastal freedom.

Pro Tip

When heading toward Dubrovnik, you no longer need to cross the Bosnian border (the Neum corridor). The Pelješac Bridge offers a fast, convenient, and free solution – and the view is breathtaking!

Route 5

North to South: Scandinavian Routes Across Europe

Scandinavian departures – Southern European destinations

Starting a journey from Norway or Sweden to Southern Europe is not just a trip; it's an expedition. Distances often reach 3,000 kilometers. The Scandinavian calm is quickly replaced by the intense pulse of German motorway traffic.

With my mechanical engineering background and defensive driving style, I manage these vast distances with ease. While you cross the continent by plane in just a few hours, I safely "bring down" your vehicle from the cool North to the sunny South.

Pro Tip

Before crossing the Øresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden, it is worth buying your ticket online linked to your license plate. It is not only cheaper, but you can also pass through the plate-recognition lanes without stopping.

Route 6

The Call of Lake Balaton: From Germany to the "Hungarian Sea"

Germany – Lake Balaton route

For decades, Lake Balaton has been a beloved destination for German tourists and property owners. However, over time, the 800–1,000 km journey from Munich or Berlin can become increasingly taxing.

It is a far more convenient and sensible solution to arrive by plane or train while having your car professionally delivered to your destination. This allows you to maintain full mobility during your holiday – visiting local vineyards or markets – without having to endure the multi-day stress and fatigue of Austrian and Hungarian motorways.

Pro Tip

In Hungary, the motorway vignette is entirely digital (e-vignette). Do not wait until the border or the first petrol station; buy it online in advance to avoid unnecessary fines!
